Digital products

What this path is

A digital product is a template, a guide, a preset, a software tool, or a membership delivered as a file or a login. You make it once and sell the copy. There is no warehouse. There is still support, refunds, and the work of finding buyers.

Who it suits

This path suits someone who has already solved a specific problem and can explain the steps. It does not suit a first product that tries to teach everything about making money. Narrow products are easier to finish and easier to describe.

What it takes to start

Write down who the product is for and what they can do after they use it. Make the smallest version that delivers that result. Put it on a simple checkout. Then show it to people who already have the problem, instead of announcing it to nobody.

Risks

A file that nobody needs does not become a business because it is digital. Refunds, piracy, and support still exist. A product with no distribution plan sits in a folder.

Questions

Do you need a big audience first?

An audience helps. A specific group you can reach, even a small one, is enough to test a product. A product with no way to reach buyers is a draft.

What should the first product be?

Something you can finish in days, for a person you can describe, with a result they can check.

Is a course a digital product?

Yes. A course is one kind. This site will sell courses later. The pages here explain the paths first.
