The link is a referral
The merchant gives you a tracked link. A purchase that comes through that link can earn a commission. A purchase that does not is not yours.
The page is the work
People need a reason to trust the recommendation. Explain who the product is for, who should skip it, and what it costs. A list of buttons is not a review.
Say that you may be paid
Put the disclosure where the reader will see it, in ordinary words. This site will do that when it adds links. It has not added them.
